Tico Tours™ Policies

Tico Tours™,LLC acts as an agent for hotels, transportation companies and other contractors and shall not be held responsible for any injury, death, loss, delay or irregularity that may occur including but not limited to the following: any defect in a vehicle or any other form of conveyance, the acts or default of any company or person engaged in providing service to a traveler, acts of god, detention, delays or expenses arising from strike, theft, force, civil disturbance, government restriction, accident by aircraft, boat, bicycle, motor vehicles or any other form of transport or in any hotel, guest house, or other form of accommodation. Tico Tours™ shall not be held liable for any lost, damaged, or stolen baggage or personal effects, which are conveyed entirely at owner's risk.

Cancellations: Cancellation charges are as follows: 60 days or more prior to arrival a $50 handling fee will be charged;less than 60 days prior to arrival a $100 handling fee will be charged. In the event of cancellation, all attempts to recover deposits will be made. These refunds will depend on the policies of individual establishments. Less than 30 days prior to arrival all monies may be forfeited. No refunds will be made if you leave the trip for any reason, whether voluntary or involuntary. No refunds can be made for services not utilized.


Payments: A deposit of 1/3 of the total cost will be due when reservations are made. The balance will be due in our office 45 days prior to arrival. If reservations are made with less than 45 days prior to arrival, full payment will be due at time of booking.
